Most people who apply for refugee status are refused. This is partly due to the complexity of refugee law, and partly due to unscrupulous agents encouraging people to make refugee claims.

We do not handle refugee cases.

We can

  • Assess your situation and advise you if you have other options.
  • Refer you to a service that helps with refugee cases if appropriate

If you claim refugee status and are refused, your future visa options can be seriously effected. The Australian Government can refuse future visa applications by you on the grounds that you are not a person of good character (because their files state you made a false or unsubstantiated claim for refugee status).

We strongly recommend you get ethical legal advice on your case.
