Buyer Beware & Taking the High Road
The Australian government (ASQA) recently cancelled the registration of four Australian course providers:
- Australian Academy of Elite Education (45442)
- Elite College Australia, also known as Sterling Business College (2417/01701G)
- EDU VET (40993)
- Australia Education & Career College (52865)
ASQA says they are “currently undertaking an ongoing program” of compliance investigations to uncover education providers who do not comply with Australian standards, and they will be “pursuing regulatory action to cancel qualifications and/or statements of attainment issued”.

Taking the High Road
When something seems too good to be true, it often is. Things that are worthwhile usually cost you time, effort and money. When I was courting my wife, I spent lots of time building a meaningful relationship with her, I put in a big effort, and I bought her the best engagement ring I could afford (I was a student back then so it was humble, but she loves it because it was all I could afford).
If something is quick, easy and cheap take it as a warning that you may not get what you are expecting.
Safe travels!
